There are some fascinating implications coming out of that massive cameo at the end of the episode- regarding who was cut out, and what that means for who was left in.
Where does that leave Superman?
They then discuss the impending arrival of The Batman, its current box office projections, and how it could be the start of an insane year for DC on Film, which will be releasing The Flash, Black Adam, and Aquaman 2 before the year is up.
From there, they change gears and get into some gaming topics, including Avengers Infinity War's recent assertion that they are the future of storytelling.

Marvel's trailer for Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness is discussed, including THAT cameo at the end, and the way Marvel is weaving every prior franchise into the canon.
They conclude with the similarities and differences between the way DC and Marvel seem to be using the concept of the multiverse.

This week's show opens with a discussion on the trends currently reshaping the entertainment industry. Using a recent column from Variety ("From ‘Star Wars’ to ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’: How Big IP Is Driving the Streaming Wars") as a guide, MFR breaks down what the plans are for our favorite properties.
He then dives into some of the headlines that have caught his attention lately, with lots of exciting casting news to react to. From DC sequels Aquaman 2 and Shazam!: Fury of The Gods to Indiana Jones 5, several projects took major steps forward this week. He also chimes in on that wacky "Fast and Furious Could Crossover With Jurassic Park" rumor (and what part of the story actually caught his eye), and reacts to news of a "Thundercats" movie coming from Godzilla vs Kong director Adam Wingard.
He wraps up by sharing how he thinks Superman and Lois proves that TV is the best medium for Superman stories, and how the new outlook at WarnerMedia means we can get more great long-form storytelling for our favorite heroes from now on.

The Hollywood Reporter and Vanity Fair each published revealing tell-alls this week, exposing details and insights about the behind the scenes drama with Zack Snyder's DCEU films. One tells the story of Ray Fisher, who finally opens up what exactly his crusade against Joss Whedon, Geoff Johns, Jon Berg, and now Walter Hamada is all about. The other is a candid interview with a fiery Chris Terrio, the screenwriter behind Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (a title he hates as much as I did, apparently) and Zack Snyder's Justice League.
The Fanboy Podcast host Mario-Francisco Robles takes a fine comb through both interviews, analyzing and offering his take on what the Cyborg actor and screenwriter had to say.
Before delving into that, he also offers up his thoughts on the early numbers that have come in for the Snyder Cut, and what kind of Snyderverse- if any- can live on if these numbers are to be trusted.

On this week's The Fanboy Podcast, host Mario-Francisco Robles analyzes DC's move away from "singular voices." He digs into the history of how Zack Snyder was once given free reign, and the keys to the kingdom, and how that seemingly backfired.
But MFR also points out that the two sides never seemed to be on the same page about what Batman v Superman was supposed to set up. Snyder was looking to continue a self-contained 5 part story, while the studio wanted a sprawling, interconnected universe.
From James Wan almost exiting Aquaman in 2016, to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson not fully embracing his Black Adam movie until the Snyder regime was over, there's lots to look at when breaking down how we ended up in a DC Universe that is terrified of one singular voice calling the shots.
Along the way, he shares what he thinks the best prospects for the #RestoreTheSnyderVerse camp are, because there's definitely still hope, and ends with some of the latest updates about what's to come in DC's cinematic future (They nixed New Gods and The Trench?!), and why we shouldn't be so scared because we're actually about to get a true filmmaker-driven universe for our beloved characters to play in.
